Manufacturing
LGH offers an enviable depth of knowledge and practical applications
through its in-house design and manufacture facilities. Our first class
team of design engineers regularly originate world class solutions. We
solve customers' particular problems through unique designs and bespoke
engineering.
Sales
LGH has vast experience and broad product knowledge, making the acquisition
of that key piece of equipment so much easier. We can advise customers
on technical specifications, capacity, and performance. And offer the
right choice from our extensive product range, many of which are field
tested and endorsed, and all of which are, audited and approved by our
technical department.
Service
Through its branch network, LGH can offer testing, service, maintenance
and certification of a comprehensive range of equipment. Additionally
a network of service engineers offers on-site servicing, 24-hour emergency
cover, and service and maintenance contracts.
Tackle Store Management
We can assume total responsibility for a customer's tackle stores, from
resourcing and managing equipment to regular inspection, and even to providing
advice on lifting problems. A qualified LGH engineer will act as on-site
stores manager and can be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year if
required.
Testing
LGH utilise engineers qualified as LEEA testers / examiners to inspect
and test your own lifting equipment and installations. They conduct a
wide range of 'light load', 'safe working load', and 'proof load' tests
utilising live or simulated loads.
Most LGH locations are test houses and we have horizontal, vertical and
hydraulic test facilities. In addition, over 200 items of portable load
testing equipment are utlised by our site services personnel.
All our test equipment is accracy calibrated and is NPL (National Physical
Loboratory) traceable.
Equipment or installations passed as "fit-for-purpose" are
issued with a statutory 'thorough examination' report in accordance with
LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).
We also offer a calibration service for hydraulic equipment.
Training
The efficient and safe use of products provided by LGH is supported through
either our standard or our bespoke training services in the UK. Observing
the latest statutory and legal requirements, the courses are endorsed
by many leading industrial associations
